Ashok Leyland is planning to set up a bus manufacturing unit in Mallavalli Industrial Estate in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.
The company has been allotted 75 acre at the site. The new plant will manufacture 4,800 buses per annum. It will also set up an electric vehicles development centre and a skill development centre.
