India Kawasaki Motors has launched its first cruiser, Vulcan S, in India. The cruiser bike will be assembled at its Chakan plant in Pune. The cruiser is an urban, stylish option for all riders, including new riders and female riders. Its parallel twin engine, unique frame and suspension layout and non-traditional looks make it stand out. It is equipped with a liquid-cooled, DOHC, 8-valve 649 cm3 Parallel Twin with fuel injection, which delivers a smooth, responsive performance, especially in the low and medium rpm ranges. The ABS, along with 300 mm large disc with dual-piston and 250 mm disc with single piston are other main feature. The Vulcan S is priced at Rs 5.44 lakh ex-showroom.
