Ather Energy is all set to launch its two models of electric scooters in India. Initially, the scooters will be launched only in Bengaluru as the company intends to have its own charging grid known as Ather Grid. According to the company it plans to have 6,500 charging points by 2022 with an investment of Rs. 1300 million. It has two models Ather 340 (priced at Rs 1,09,750 all inclusive) and Ather 450 (priced at Rs 1,24,750 all inclusive road price). The electric scooters features 7.0-inch capacitive touchscreen, adaptive LED headlight, GPS, over-the-air updates, charging station location tracking, custom user interface, diagnostic alerts and a custom app etc.
