Isuzu Motors has launched a 7 seater SUV – a refreshed mu-X in India with new eagle inspired styling. The SUV is now have more features both on the exterior and interior with enhanced safety features, including 6-Airbags and Hill Descent Control (HDC), Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control System and Antilock Braking System with Emergency Brake Assist and Electronic Brake-force Distribution along with a host of passive safety systems. It is priced at ₹ 26,26,842 for the 4×2 variant and at ₹ 28,22,959 for 4×4 variant ex-showroom, Hyderabad.
It also comes with ‘5ECURE’ package that provides ‘5 years warranty and 5 years free periodic maintenance or 150,000 km (whichever is earlier).
The SUV is powered by a 3.0 litre diesel engine which delivers a maximum power output of 130 kW (177 PS). It provides a maximum torque of 390 Nm that is designed with a significant flat torque curve.
It will be available in both 4×2 and 4×4 variants with 5-speed sequential shift Automatic Transmission. The 4×4 variant sports a ‘shift-on-the-fly’ select dial for an excellent off-roading capability. The new mu-X has a higher ground clearance of 230 mm and class-leading approach and departure angles.
