Veera Vahana Udyog Pvt Ltd is planning to set up a electric bus manufacturing unit in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. It ahs signed an MoU with the state government of Andhra Pradesh for setting up an electric bus manufacturing unit. The company will make an investment of Rs 1,000 crore in Phase-I. The unit will spread over 120 acre and will have a capacity to manufacture 3,000 buses per annum.
As of November 2019, the project is in planning stage and land for the project is yet to be alloted.
