Edison Motors of South Korea is planning to set up an electric vehicle manufacturing facility in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The company is planning to sign an MoU with the state government and is working out the best incentives. Currently, the company is looking for land along the Yamuna Expressway and in Lucknow. The project will entail an investment of ₹ 35,000 million over a period in phases and will develop an ecosystem as it plans to use 90% of local parts.
