About the Company :
Maruti Suzuki is one of the largest passenger car company with largest sales with market share of over 50%. It has around 13 brands catering to A/B/C segments and having successful model in all A&B segments. It had completed 25 years of service and it maintains its leadership despite the entry of other global players like Ford, General Motors, Toyota and Hyundai.
In December 2016, the company is planning to increase its R&D investment and plans to invest over Rs. 36,000 million towards its Rohtak R&D Centre. The facility spreads over 600 acres and would enable the company to design, develop and launch cars at a faster pace.
In May 2017, the company has decided to invest Rs. 60,000 million towards a engine plant in Gujarat.
