Modern Automotives Ltd was incorporated in 2005 and started its commercial production in the year 2007. The company is promoted by Mr. Ramesh C. Jain, Mr. Vijay Garg and Mr. Aditya Goyal. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of forging products and machined automotive components like crank shafts, connecting rod, gears and so forth, for customers in automobile industry. MAL is a tier-1 vendor for HMSI (Honda Motorcycle & Scooter (I) Pvt Ltd) and ~75-80% of sales is to HMSI and its associate company, Musashi Auto Parts India Pvt Ltd.
The manufacturing facilities of the company are located at Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab and Bangalore, Karnataka with an aggregate installed capacity of ~7.1 lakhs units per month for forging products and ~4 lakhs units per month for machined components. The Bangalore plant has only machining shop. The company’s manufacturing facilities have TS 16949 certification by DNV Netherlands.
