Seoyon E Hwa Automotive India Pvt Ltd is mainly engaged in the manufacturing and supply of door trims and bumpers to KMIPL. The company was incorporated in September 2017 and commercial production began in July 2019.
It operates a single manufacturing facility at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh with a capacity utilisation of about 55% on a two-shift basis. SAPL is a JV between Seoyon E-Hwa Company Limited (60% shareholding) and Summit Auto Seat Industry Company (40% shareholding).
While the former has been operating in the auto business for over four decades and is an existing supplier to Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Motors Company globally; the latter is based out of Thailand and deals in the manufacturing of seats for both two-wheelers and PVs.
