Ford has launched compact utility vehicle Ford Freestyle (Petrol) in India at a price of Rs 5.09 lakh. (ex showroom). Its petrol versions are tagged between Rs 5.09 lakh and Rs 6.94 lakh, the diesel variants come for between Rs 6.09 lakh and Rs 7.89 lakh. The Ford Freestyle is based on the Figo but it is differentiated from the latter, both aesthetically and mechanically as well. Its ground clearance has been increased to 190 mm. The top end Freestyle Titanium include Ford’s SYNC3 system with voice control and Emergency Assist. It also has auto headlamp function, rain sensing wipers, Ford’s MyKey and two USB ports, and Titanium+ variant gets a total of six airbags.
