Yokohoma Tyres of Alliance Tire Group is setting up a new manufacturing facility in Atchutapuram in Special Projects zone in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up of new plant will have a daily production capacity of 55 tonnes (rubber weight). The project cost is estimated at $ 55 million. The construction work began in 2020 and the project will go operational by the year 2023.
It may be noted that, the company already two other manufacturing facilities in Dahej in Gujarat and Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu.
