About the Company :
Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited (PVPL) is a 100% subsidiary of Piaggio & C Spa of Italy. It commenced Indian operations in 1999 with the launch of its brand Ape three wheeler. It is the pioneer of 3-wheeler goods transportation in India, is one of the leading player in its class. The company offers a range of passenger and cargo vehicles for many customized applications.
It also manufactures mini trucks, two wheelers – Vespa Scooter, multi fuel vehicles and passenger three wheelers.
In October 2019, the company has unveiled BS-VI certification for three-wheeler CNG engine. It may be noted that, BS-VI comes into force from April 1, 2020.
