About the Company :

Skoda Auto Private Ltd started its venture in 2001 and is a subsidiary of the Czech automotive manufacturer Skoda Auto and a division of Volkswagen Group Sales India. Its manufacturing plant in Aurangabad has the capacity of 40,000 vehicles. The company has more than 100+ dealerships across 53 cities in India. The Octavia was the first car launched in India, followed by Skoda Fabia, Superb, Yeti and Laura, Vento and Rapid.

In October 2018, the company has commissioned a 980 kW advanced solar power generation project at its production facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The solar plant will meet 30 percent of the plant’s annual energy consumption by generating 1,475 MWh of power per annum.
