Yamaha India has upgraded all its scooter models with combined brake system (also called unified braking system). This move comes into play, as government has made it mandatory to have combined brake system for scooters with less than 125 cc engine capacity and ABS is mandated for scooter with above 125 cc engine capacity.
Its current five models – the Fascino, Cygnus Alpha, Cygnus Ray Z, Cygnus Ray ZR and Cygnus Ray ZR Street rally will be equipped with combined brake system at a nominal price increase of ₹ 600 across models for disc brakes and ₹ 400 for drum brakes.
