Honda Cars India (HCIL), has launched its new model, WR-V a compact SUV with price starting at Rs.7.75 lakh. Its petrol version is available at Rs. 7.75 lakh and Rs. 8.99 lakh, while the diesel variant is priced at Rs.8.79 lakh and Rs. 9.99 lakh (all ex-showroom, Delhi). The WR-V is an all-new sporty lifestyle vehicle based on Honda’s globally successful Jazz platform.
The vehicle will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and Hyundai i20 Active and Ford Ecosport. It features a sporty and sophisticated exterior design, high quality spacious interiors with advanced equipment, top of the class fuel efficiency, powerful performance and full range of safety features.
While the petrol (1.2 litre i-VTEC) engine gives 17.5kmpl, the diesel variant (1.5 litre iDTEC) would give 25.5kmpl, the company said.
