Power Global is planning to set up a one gigawatt hour capacity lithium ion battery plant at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh. The manufacturing facility will roll out 4 lakh batteries per year. The company is also setting up battery swapping infrastructure with a capacity to retrofit around 8 lakh existing conventional three-wheelers in India for conversion into electric versions. It will also produce the retrofitting kit in the same Greater Noida plant.
